Hospital Indemnity Plan & Medicare Advantage.
What if Medicare Beneficiary is hospitalized twice in the same year. Hospital Indemnity coverage is good. Look at your Maximum Out Of Pocket, M.O.O.P., on your Medicare Advantage plan and see if you can pay that amount. If you cannot, then a Hospital Indemnity plan would assist you in paying the large Copays from inpatient hospitalization stay. Please be aware, even if you stay in the hospital overnight, you might still be considered an outpatient. Check with the hospital staff. Please consult with a Licensed Broker.
Plans are insured or covered by a Medicare Advantage (HMO, PPO and PFFS) organization with a Medicare contract and/or a Medicare-approved Part D sponsor. Enrollment in the plan depends on the plan’s contract renewal with Medicare. We do not offer every plan available in your area. Any information we provide is limited to those plans we do offer in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE to get information on all of your options.
