My passion is helping people navigate what can often feel like a confusing healthcare system. I specialize in guiding individuals who are transitioning to Medicare, retiring from employer health plans, self-employed, or seeking affordable coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplace.
Through my work, I have helped hundreds of individuals and families review their options, apply for coverage, and understand programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Savings Programs, and Extra Help. I believe that when people understand their healthcare benefits, they can make confident decisions that protect their health and their finances.
In addition to working directly with clients, I regularly host community workshops and educational sessions designed to make healthcare information easier to understand. I am also honored to serve as the President of the Montgomery Chapter of the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals, where I support industry education and advocate for ethical practices that benefit consumers.

I don’t take leaving negative reviews lightly, but ongoing communication issues with Latarsha Billingsley and delayed responses from her caused repeated stress and financial loss for us as clients. Since signing up, there were multiple situations where messages went unanswered by her until last minute, deadlines were unclear or incorrectly communicated to us, and follow-ups were consistently required on my end to her. This led to issues like our insurance being cancelled one month and our most recent issue being us having to pay a much higher January premium because our income adjustment was submitted after the deadline by her, despite me reaching out multiple times ahead of it to her with no response. Georgia Access representatives confirmed her delay as our agent caused the issue and that some of the advice we were given by her after it happened had put our account at risk of suspension. Because of the repeated stress, lack of timely communication, and financial impact, I genuinely cannot recommend working with her and suggest finding a different agent to avoid these problems.

I am extremely grateful for the support and dedication my insurance agent provided this year. I can’t say enough good things about Latarsha Billingsley. This year was stressful trying to make sure both my children and I had proper health coverage, especially with them being in school out of state. She really came through for us. She was patient, kind, and always willing to explain things until I understood. She never made me feel rushed or like a burden, and she truly cared about my family’s situation. Because of her, my kids and I are covered and I finally feel at peace. I am so thankful for her help and would recommend her to anyone without hesitation.
